Spring Cleanup

We're in full Spring cleanup mode! Hope to post some pics soon of the yard since we're doing some major overhauling with the help of a landscaper. I'm also tackling new shades in the bedrooms and replacing the doorknobs in the house. Mom and Dad come for their first Westhampton visit in two weeks and I want everything to be in great shape.

Vella had her first tick this past weekend. Gross. She received regular doses of Frontline and we had her vaccinated for Lyme Disease...she most likely picked it up in the backyard or on one of our walks down to the Bay (lots of tall grasses along the road).

CA Trip Recap

I had a fun and relaxing trip to CA to visit Amy, Paul, James and Genevieve...we started at the Aquarium in Long Beach, played in the park each night, cooked some yummy dinners with Amy and watched lots of James' favorites (Nemo and Cars). And of course, we built a track or two for Thomas. Amy and I even snuck in a workout at her gym.
We had great weather on Saturday night and went to the beach for sunset (wine and cheese included!), followed by dinner at Olamendis.
Miss you guys! Counting down to July.

Back from the OC!

I had a blast in California visiting Paul, Amy, James and Genevieve. Pictures and a recap soon. Miss you (and the sunshine) already.

I was greeted at the door by Vella and Matt late last night. I love my little family.

Not just for kids!

Vella needs a place to store her toys. I ordered the natural color w/ a white monogram. The blue stripe may find it's way out to the house!

Happy Wednesday

I got nothing! Here's what I've been up to lately, it isn't very exciting.

Work, work and more work
Gym
Playing with Vella
Spring cleaning
Dinner with Baris and Liz, our fellow carniwhores, at Libertatdor
Making necklaces (stay tuned, Etsy store will be open soon!)

We head to Westhampton this weekend. We haven't been out there much and need to start getting ready for the warm weather! Vella also has her first obedience class. Fingers crossed my intellectually gifted girl is the star of the class :-) I also plan to squeeze in a trip to Home Goods in Riverhead.

Passover starts next Wednesday and we'll have friends over for dinner. I'm menu planning. Not sure what we'll do for Easter since it's during Passover and that limits what I can cook (for all you gentiles who aren't familiar with Passover, that means no bread, flour etc.). Any suggestions? Funny thing is pork is like another food group in our house, so ham is always an option! Kind of ironic, right?!? Only at the Rosedales.
